This Ministry was born from a trip Rosa Brooks took to Kenya and Ghana, Sept. 2007. When she came home and began to reflect over the trip and the many churches and organizations she had visited, she recognized a need to start a ministry to go into the rural areas of Africa. The Lord impressed this upon her on the 8th of Nov. as she sat working on the videos from the trip. She traveled alone and knew no one in the country, and it was the first time she had visited Kenya. When she was asked if she was a Pastor or had a church? She replied no, I am just an obedient child of God doing what God told me to do. The people began to call her a "Servant of God", thus was the name given to this ministry.
Servant of God Ministry is a Support Ministry for churches in Indigenous Africa and other parts of the world, we will do whatever we can to help equip them to continue their work and win souls for the Kingdom of God. We have sent electronic bible studies, we have built 2 websites (http://www.aaha.faithweb.com and www.sogm.faithweb.com} and researched grant opportunities for their churches and businesses. All this in hopes of helping them to carry our the Great Commission of Jesus Christ to every creature. Servant of God Ministries, also has a weekly Internet Radio Program dedicated to the SOGM Ministry. You may tune in at anytime 24/7 days a week through the internet. www.blogtalkradio.com/rbrafrica not updated since 2014.
Due to this (Special Call) I've been given for Africa I realized a need to branch out and do whatever I could to help. Africa has many problems and challenges in so many areas. I had no money of my own; so I sold some of my furniture, jewelry, clothing, 3 cars and borrowed money to make this trip. I slept overnight in the Heathrow Airport to make my flight the next day to Kenya. Furthering the gospel led me to take my retirement earnings early and use some of that money for the glory of God!!
Servant of God Ministries was formed as a Missionary Support Ministry going to the unevangelized peoples throughout the world, we believe that we are led of the Lord to support indigenous or native missionaries so that they might evangelize their own peoples; city by city, town by town; village by village with Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we seek to work with indigenous congregations, pastors, elders, and missionaries of integrity and faith in the unreached world to help them in evangelizing, discipling, and establishing churches among their own peoples. We also extend our support to NGOs in these areas to help promote their causes and activities to further expose them to the rest of the world through websites, and social media. We believe through this support and the love of Christ we can help eradicate hunger, disease, promote educational opportunities for children, young adults, and empower women with skills to compete in the workforce.
While Servant of God Ministries works in partnership with indigenous churches, their leaders, and their missionaries, it is our non-negotiable theological conviction that each local congregation be independent, autonomous, and directly accountable to and under the headship of Jesus Christ. Consequently, we are careful to respect, uphold, and affirm the autonomous nature of the churches with whom we partner. SOGM a fellowship of like-minded churches and individual believers, moved by the demands of the Great Commission and led by the Spirit of God to strengthen indigenous local churches and their ministers and to assist them in their participation in the Great Commission.
Servant of God Ministries will provide indigenous churches with the help necessary to support individual missionaries for a period of time. After such a time, the missionary's life and work will be reevaluated. Accountability will be the primary priority after a missionary is commissioned.
Servant of God Ministries will also assist women, children, orphans, teens, disabled and self help programs aimed at improving the life and education of of its members. As donations are channeled to those areas in need. I personally have already identified approx. 30 such organizations I visited to verify their projects 2007.
Servant of God Ministries would like to take the Word of God in the rural areas of Africa and other rural areas of the world where many do not see Foreign Ministries. God dealt with Rosa while ministering in Kenya to preach Jesus and his Love, tell them of his simple plan of salvation for mankind; to stay away from denominational doctrines and other church cultures we have in America. This gospel has to stay in a pure and simple form to reach mankind and turn their hearts to The Lord. They must know that Jesus is the way and the only way to make it into the Kingdom of God.
Since this first trip the Lord told me that he will would use me in other countries as well.

Proverbs 19:17- He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
Matt: 25: 35-40-For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in, Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee a hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
